Good Morning Disciples of Jesus Christ. We prayed about what the Holy Spirit would like us to write about today, and we found it by listening to a good teaching by Father Mike Schmitz on what it takes to be a saint.
But first, here is today’s Holy Mass at St. Mary’s parish in Ottawa, Canada for those that can’t get to Holy Mass due to illness, lockdowns, or restrictions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vu3uMR6Vfk.
Our Lord is calling us to be saints, and this is what we are to focus on as Disciples that follow this blog, but many followers of Our Lord believe that this is impossible. If we are living in a time when Our Lord will renew the Heaven and Earth, then this is the most perfect time to be a saint! Why, because out of all of the history of time, God has chosen you to live in this time. Not a thousand years ago, not five hundred years ago, not a hundred years ago, but now in this present time. So, we have to believe that God is always guiding us to become saints for Him, because this is what He calls us to believe in His Holy Word. In fact, Father Mike Schmitz explains it so well in his teaching from Micah 6:8. “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
If we look at all of Micha, Chapter 6, we get even a bigger picture of the context of how God is calling us to be saints. We also can see that the Holy Spirit is revealing this same Scripture as relevant to the times we are living in today. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Micah%206&version=NIV.
The Lord’s Case Against Israel
6 Listen to what the Lord says:
“Stand up, plead my case before the mountains;
let the hills hear what you have to say.
2 “Hear, you mountains, the Lord’s accusation;
listen, you everlasting foundations of the earth.
For the Lord has a case against his people;
he is lodging a charge against Israel.
3 “My people, what have I done to you?
How have I burdened you? Answer me.
4 I brought you up out of Egypt
and redeemed you from the land of slavery.
I sent Moses to lead you,
also Aaron and Miriam.
5 My people, remember
what Balak king of Moab plotted
and what Balaam son of Beor answered.
Remember your journey from Shittim to Gilgal,
that you may know the righteous acts of the Lord.”
6 With what shall I come before the Lord
and bow down before the exalted God?
Shall I come before him with burnt offerings,
with calves a year old?
7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams,
with ten thousand rivers of olive oil?
Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression,
the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly[a] with your God.
Israel’s Guilt and Punishment
9 Listen! The Lord is calling to the city—
and to fear your name is wisdom—
“Heed the rod and the One who appointed it.[b]
10 Am I still to forget your ill-gotten treasures, you wicked house,
and the short ephah,[c] which is accursed?
11 Shall I acquit someone with dishonest scales,
with a bag of false weights?
12 Your rich people are violent;
your inhabitants are liars
and their tongues speak deceitfully.
13 Therefore, I have begun to destroy you,
to ruin[d] you because of your sins.
14 You will eat but not be satisfied;
your stomach will still be empty.[e]
You will store up but save nothing,
because what you save[f] I will give to the sword.
15 You will plant but not harvest;
you will press olives but not use the oil,
you will crush grapes but not drink the wine.
16 You have observed the statutes of Omri
and all the practices of Ahab’s house;
you have followed their traditions.
Therefore I will give you over to ruin
and your people to derision;
you will bear the scorn of the nations.[g]”
So, we see that God is angry at Israel and is explaining to them through the Prophet Micah, that He has provided everything for them to become Holy for Him. He brought them out of Egypt as the slaves to their bondage, He gave them Laws and Commandments to follow to abide in His Ways, and He provided all of the resources to survive any time of trial that they encountered. All Our Lord asked of them was to do justice, and to love goodness, and to walk HUMBLY with God. This is the same that Our Lord is asking of us today to become saints for Him. Also, we can see the parallels of how God Our Father has done the same for us through His Son and Our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Lord Jesus Christ has delivered us from the bondage of slavery from sin, He has provided His Holy Word through His Laws, and Commandments to be guided and directed in all of His Ways, and through our Surrender to Him, He provides all that we need in resources for any trial we encounter in our lifetimes. This is why Our Lord Jesus Christ, is the New Covenant with all of God’s Children with His Precious Blood made as reparation from our bondage of sins. However, we continue with acknowledging and accepting His Sacrifice by abiding in ALL of His Ways in His Laws, Commandments, and our commitment to walk HUMBLY with Our Lord.
We see in the second part of Micha, Chapter 6, of what God does not consider to be HUMILITY, because Micah describes this to the Israelites under ISRAEL’s Guilt and Punishment. So, Micah explains that many of the Israelites turned to paganism, worshipping false gods. They became rich materially, and have chosen violence and deceit out of their greed for wealth. They are not walking HUMBLY with God not necessarily because they are rich, but because they have turned the desire for wealth and power into a god, and this desire for wealth and power has made them evil in God’s eyes because they have turned against God and all of His Ways. It is not money that makes people evil, it is the desire of money, wealth, power and knowledge that Satan uses as a tool to turn people away from God through their sins and worship of this desire. So, God is showing us again today in our times, that people are turning away from God through their personal desires of all pleasures, and not just monetary pleasures. The desires of wealth, sex, freedom to do anything and everything that includes paganism, abortion, sexual identity, fornication, homosexuality, and everything else that goes against God’s Ways. The Elites trying to control humanity today and destroy everything that God has ever instilled in us as His Children and these people represent what Micah was telling the Israelites on what not to do, or it will invoke God’s justice and punishment. If you are new to this blog, please continue reading it from the beginning to get a very real and clear picture of what the Holy Spirit has also shown us and how we must now fight for God in the Salvation of Souls.
Here is Father Mike Schmitz teaching on “You Can Be A Saint. Here’s How.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3B3nUjmP0-Q.
If we are living in God’s Divine Will through our Surrender to Our Lord Jesus Christ, then we have already begun the steps to become a saint. But, it is our constant daily efforts of continuing to Surrender to God’s Divine Will, yielding to the Holy Spirit, and turning away from all sin that keeps us on this road to sainthood.
Let us Pray – Lord, We know that You are calling us to be saints through Your Holy Word and through Your Prophets. We Surrender to You today all of our actions, works, deeds, and thoughts and we pray for the gift of living in Your Divine Will in order to be Transformed as Your Disciples that are Truly Sanctified. We know that when we are Truly Sanctified, we will become saints for You, and we know that we can’t do this without Your Heavenly Graces. We choose You over all earthly pleasures, because Your Love is all we need to be joyful. We ask for the intercession of Our Blessed Mother and all of the Saints to pray for us to live constantly in Your Divine Will, thus aligning ourselves with the Trinitarian Will. We ask this in Your name, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Here is a Fox News Report on the fact that now New York is mandating proof of vaccination for citizens to enter indoor facilities. We knew this would rapidly spread because this is what we posted a few days ago on the protests in Europe on proof of vaccination, and so now it is beginning in the United States. Again, this is the Elites trying to push everyone into receiving the vaccine, and this is what Micah was referring to of those that are choosing to go against God with their lies and deceit. This will continue to spread, but we are not hear to please man, but to please God. Please continue to pray for God’s Divine Will and Guidance to remain faithful to Him in every decision you make. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Nhih5pGx28.
