Good Morning Disciples of Jesus Christ. We are covering some more of what I believe Our Lord wants me to share with you on studying the Volumes of Luisa Piccarreta’s Living in the Divine Will. Remember, that Our Lord told Luisa to share her experiences with His Children, because we all will be Living in the Divine, which is the Trinitarian Will when we enter the Era of Peace. This is very important to understand because we must receive this gift from the Blessed Trinity, it is not considered a virtue that we receive on our way to becoming Saints for Our Lord. It is actually a gift we receive, like Luisa Piccarreta received that will align us with the Trinitarian Will on a perpetual basis. Here are some excerpts on HOPE that I will type out today from the end of Volume 2.
Jesus, “My daughter, do no be disturbed – Hope is peace.” (Our Lord was referring to the images He gave to Luisa on the Chastisements.) “And just as I, in the very act in which I make justice, remain in the most perfect peace, you too, by immersing yourself in Hope, must remain in peace. The soul who is at peace, by wanting to afflict herself, become disturbed or lose trust, would run into the misfortune of one who, though possessing millions upon millions of coins, and even being queen of various kingdoms, keeps fantasizing and lamenting, saying: ‘What shall I live on? How shall I clothe myself?”
Jesus, “In the act of sinning, the soul already goes out of the kingdom of Hope, because sin and Hope cannot be together. Now, the soul who lives in Hope by sinning, already offends Hope, and if it were in her power, she would burn up all of the goods that Hope possesses. Then she would find herself in the misfortune of that lady who, abandoning her goods, goes to live in foreign lands.”
Jesus, “The nature of Hope is peace, and what she is by nature, the soul who lives in the bosom of this peacemaking mother acquires by grace.”
Luisa, “And in the very act of speaking these words, by means of an intellectual light, blessed Jesus makes me see, through the simile of a mother, what this Hope has done for man. Oh, what a moving and most tender scene! If all could see it, even the hardest hearts would cry with contrition, and would grow so fond of her, that it would become impossible for them to detach even for one moment from her maternal knees.”
Luisa, ” In sum, Hope provides us with everything, in such a way that if one is weak, she gives him strength; if another is stained, Hope instituted the Sacraments and in them she prepared the bath for our sins. If one is hungry or thirst, this compassionate Mother gives us the most beautiful, the most delicious food, which is her delicate flesh, and as drink, her most precious blood. What else can this peacemaking Mother Hope do? And who else is similar to her? Ah, she alone has reconciled Heaven and earth! Hope has united Faith and Charity with herself and has formed that indissoluble link between human and Divine nature. But, who is this Mother? Who is this Hope? She is Jesus Christ, who operated our Redemption and formed the Hope of man astray.”
So, what Our Lord and Luisa are telling us here is that we can obtain the virtue of Hope by removing ourselves from sin, because sin and Hope can not be together. When we separate ourselves from sin, and begin to seek Jesus Christ our Lord, He begins to allow us to receive the graces for the virtue of Hope. Also, Our Lord describes Hope like a protective Mother that at all costs would give up her life to keep her children close to her and keep them from any harm. This is ultimately Our Lord, because He gave up His life for our Salvation, and He continues to suffer and pursue us until our last dying breath. We can see this comparison that Luisa gave us because we can also discern this same comparison that we did with the Book of Wisdom in the Scriptures in a post we wrote a few weeks ago. Wisdom is God, just like Jesus Christ our Lord is Hope! If we separate ourselves from Jesus with sin, then we are separating ourselves from Hope, and we will live in despair and worry, which Satan will use against us to pull us further away from God. This is vital information from Our Lord in these times, because we must continue to have Hope in Our Lord, no matter what is going on all around us! Thank You Jesus, for revealing this to Luisa Piccarreta and us!
