Goodmorning Disciples of Jesus Christ. Happy Second Sunday of Advent! We pray that everyone is preparing for the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and possibly His Second Coming. Isn’t it ironic that we are at the point today of such evil in our world that we are recognizing that the preparation for the birth of Our Lord in celebration could also actually be the preparation for His Second Coming! So, how do we do that? We don’t change a thing of how we normally prepare at Advent except that we put all of our hearts in this preparation by Surrendering to Our Lord and preparing to live in His Divine Will. This means a detachment from everything in this world that is pulling us away from God. For those of us that believe we are in the Dark Night of the Senses taught to us by St. John of the Cross, this is also a detachment from the world in such a way that God allows for preparation of union with Him. If you are studying on how to actually become a Saint in these times, then this dark night of the senses is something that you will go through and experience physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It is easy to assume that if you have been a good Christian or Catholic Christian that you don’t need to look at where you are Spiritually with Our Lord. I assure you that this is something you definitely need to do now as an examination of Conscience before Our Lord allows the Warning/Illumination of Conscience to occur. We started this blog three years ago because Our Lord put it on our hearts to help people prepare primarily spiritually for the Warning, then the physical preparation of His eventual Second Coming at the harvest by getting ready for Him in a Refuge. At the Warning, Our Lord is going to allow us to receive a mini judgment of where we have Served Him as His Child, and Disciple and also where we have sinned against Him so gravely that we are going to hell. So, this preparation of examining our consciences now is very important before we go through this with God in what could be a few months from now! Let us Pray – Lord, we don’t know where we stand Spiritually with You now because only You know the condition of our souls. We call out to You and the Blessed Trinity to guide us on How to Prepare for Your Coming, both at the celebration of Your birth this year, and Your Second Coming. We are all sinners, and we are all attached to sins and vices on different levels that only You can sort out to make our robes completely white to be able to stand in Your presence on that final day. Help us all to be battle-ready Lord, so that we may be made worthy to fight alongside You in the final battle, and to be able to become Your Saints now, so that we may enter into Your Heavenly Kingdom. We pray for the gift to live in Your Divine Will, and we pray that Your Holy Spirit guides us on all of our preparations to become Your Saints. We ask this in Your name, Jesus Christ. Amen.
