Last Sunday we celebrated Pentecost and the descent of the Holy Spirit, and we must, we must, we must, as Catholics and Christians understand how important it is to remain faithful to Jesus Christ and the Blessed Trinity and to know God and all of His ways, and to know His enemy, who is Satan, and all of the schemes Satan tries to do to steal us away from God. Because a majority of people live in the world and do not focus on their Faith and Relationship with God, they become disillusioned to the Spiritual battle that is constantly working to pull us away from Our Lord, Jesus Christ. This is why we must always constantly feed our minds and souls with God’s Holy Word, our Catechism, and everything that pulls us deeper into our Relationship with Jesus Christ to be protected by His Precious Blood. Then, we are consciously working on becoming saints because we learn how to purge our defects and become united to God, but this is only by the graces He allows us to receive and keep moving forward into His Sacred Heart.

Because we constantly choose everyday whether we want to follow Jesus Christ, or the ways of the world, we are constantly either choosing God, or choosing Satan. It is literally this simple, but these choices daily build up over time and if we are choosing against God and all of His Ways, Laws, and Commandments, then we are choosing sin, which literally kills our souls for eternal salvation. You can’t see this with your physical eyes, and you must learn how to be guided by the Holy Spirit to see it with your Spiritual eyes, meaning that you become aware by the graces of God of the sins that you are committing against Him and to stop sinning. Then your love of God grows for Him, again by His graces, and you become aware that you don’t want to offend Him anymore or ever sin or hurt Him again. This becomes a way of life that makes us saints in the end because we keep building that reciprocal love with God to ultimately become united to His Divine Will in everything we do daily.

If you are not consciously looking at your life and your family’s life and what type of life you have with God, you are going to be deceived by Satan that you are okay and have nothing to worry about. We are currently living in a time where diabolical deception is blanketing the whole world, and this is why the prophets keep talking about darkness covering the Earth. This is not a reference to just a physical darkness, but also a Spiritual darkness and if you and your family are not consciously trying to move towards Jesus Christ daily, you are going to be deceived in the ways of the world and not even be aware of it. This is why if you are Catholic, you must, you must, you must, go back to Confession and get rightly ordered back to God by confessing your mortal and venial sins and then make a conscious effort to turn away from all sin. If you are Christian, you must repent of your sins, and ask God to forgive you of your sins and make a conscious effort to turn away from all sin. Then we must all seek God in prayer and ask Jesus to enter our hearts with His Holy Spirit to begin converting us back to God, which can take a lifetime. If you don’t have the Holy Spirit guiding you and giving you all of the graces to fight in this Spiritual battle against Satan that you can’t see with your physical eyes, then he will fight with his demons even harder to bring you down again. So, we have to understand that we can’t fight this Spiritual battle without the Holy Spirit giving us the graces to keep moving towards Jesus Christ.
