Goodmorning Disciples of Jesus Christ. We know that there are many devout and holy Catholics in our world, and we know that there are many devout Christians that truly love God and all of His Ways, Laws and Commandments. However, what is also a reality in our world today is a blindness to our sins that overcomes us as we allow our world to be more of a part of our lives than we do God. When we think about what it means to kick God out of our societies, what comes to our minds? Many people would say, “No”, I haven’t done that, I still believe in God. But, what is apparent everywhere now is the proliferation of sin all over the world. We know that many Disciples that follow this blog are truly working on becoming holy for Our Lord and trying to remove all of our defects of sin to eventually become a saint. This is supposed to be the goal of every soul on this earth, not just a select few. However, many people do not wish to give up the ways of the world in order to become a saint. This is because they have not made God First in their lives and their families lives so that they stay determined to remain on the straight and narrow path to the foot of the Cross of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Jesus told us this would be the case in His Holy Word in Matthew 7:13, https://biblehub.com/matthew/7-13.htm.

“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.”

This is because of the original sin we each are struggling against with temptation from Satan. These temptations can come in the smallest of offenses against God that turns from venial sins and can eventually lead to mortal sins. The more sins we incur against God, the more blinded we become to what God expects out of each one of us. So, if we are not putting God First in everything we do every day and we are not teaching our children to put God First, then we are slowly allowing the world to rule our lives instead of God. If you are someone that stumbled across this blog today and you have never asked yourself if you are offending God, or if you are uncertain of your sins and don’t believe you need to go to confession, listen to this excellent homily by Father Terrance with the Franciscan Friars. Some of these might surprise you because you have forgotten this is a sin, or you just simply allowed the ways of the world to creep into your life because this is where most of our societies are either headed today, or are already in a huge amount of sin and heresy against God. Here is the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which Father Terrance went through rather quickly because of his time constraint. If you are Catholic and have not looked at the Catechism in a while, it is best to always go back and refresh ourselves on what we believe because the temptation of the world is so great from Satan, especially in these times. Because our whole world has gone bonkers, as Father Mark Goring would say, it is because sin is being more and more acceptable, and people do not understand that we are living in a time of iniquity that is growing exponentially. Satanism and occultic practices are everywhere and this is being displayed everywhere, and it is very easy for our Children to accept these symbols and evil practices AS NORMAL! Yesterday, we wrote about how Communism has been introduced into our societies to demoralize a nation and many of us are not even aware of it. If we have Faith in Our Lord, even if our world is going bonkers, we know that God is going to take care of everything, but to be His Disciples, we must spread His Holy Word to others. There are so many people, especially with our young adults, that are not even aware that all of the madness that is happening in our world today IS NOT NORMAL. We can’t keep going to our baseball games, places of work, cook-outs, and social gatherings believing that everything is okay, because God is going to take care of it. Yes, He will take care of it, but because we are His Children, that also need purifying on some level, we are going to have live through some of the tribulation before we are taken to a place of refuge that is protected by Our Lord and His Sacred Heart. So, we better get busy on checking ourselves first for any sins or offenses committed against God, because we have failed to put Him First, then we need to begin to bring our families and friends into this reality check from God.

We first need to have and pray for an increase of Faith from Our Lord today to open our hearts up to Our Lord, repent of our sins, and ask for His forgiveness in our own failures. What does Faith look like you ask? Study these Scriptures on Faith today, especially Hebrews 11:6. Are you pleasing to God or are you in a lack of Faith because you have sinned against Him by not putting Him First? https://www.openbible.info/topics/faith.

Let us Pray – Lord, we pray and ask for the gift of an increase in Faith. We specifically pray for a portion of Our Blessed Mother’s faith because we know that She had Perfect Faith in You. We pray that we are all made worthy of all of Your promises and that if we have offended You by our own sins and offenses, or we have allowed our children to be misguided in our Catholic Catechism on what is Truth, please show us today, all Truth, so that we are not blinded anymore. We repent and are sorry for all of our sins against You, and we will seek Confession with a holy Priest to remove our sins to be rightly ordered back to You and God Our Father. Please forgive us for falling away from You and being misled by Satan and all of his deceptions in the ways of the world. We ask this of Our Heavenly Father, in Your mighty name, Jesus Christ. Amen.
