Good Morning Disciples of Jesus Christ. What does it mean to have a conversion of the heart? We are getting ready to find out as we each face the trials and tribulations that are still coming at us slowly, but now speeding up in labor pangs. We each love God in our own special way, but how much we love God right now with a converted heart will determine if we stay Faithful to Him in times of trouble, or we flee in fear. The conversion of the heart must take place right now, so that Our Lord can turn our hearts of stone into a heart that would do anything for Him, including accepting our own death in order to not deny Him as the Son of God, and Our Savior. This is a true conversion of the heart. As God’s Disciples, we are allowing this Transformation of ourselves right now through our Surrender to Him, but this Transformation is daily and continual as we offer up ourselves to Him for the Salvation of Souls. We must ask ourselves if we are willing to die for Him in order to not fall to Temptation and run away. If we have any doubt or know that we lack courage and boldness, then we must continue to pray for these Graces from Our Lord today, because these are the gifts that make us saints. Let us Pray – Lord, we pray for the Graces of a truly converted heart in order to completely submit ourselves to Your Divine Will. We don’t know what you have planned for each one of us during these times of trial and purification, but We Trust In You. As you taught Saint Faustina, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, we also call upon Your Mercy for a true conversion of our hearts and for the Salvation of Souls. We pray for the Graces of humility, faith, courage, boldness, and a burning love for Your Divine Will that can not be quenched. We pray for all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in order to Serve You faithfully, and to have no fear as we enter each day of the purification. We ask this of our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

However, let’s reflect most specifically on what Our Lord meant in Luke 23:26-31.

²⁶ As the soldiers led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus. ²⁷ A large number of people followed him, including women who mourned and wailed for him. ²⁸ Jesus turned and said to them, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children. ²⁹ For the time will come when you will say, ‘Blessed are the childless women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’ ³⁰ Then

“‘they will say to the mountains, “Fall on us!”
    and to the hills, “Cover us!”’^[b]

³¹ For if people do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

So, what Our Lord is saying here in our discernment from the Holy Spirit is that there will come a time when we will all experience tribulation, and the tribulation will be so difficult not only for us, but for our children that currently live in this generation of iniquity, or time of evil. Because Our Lord will have to allow His justice to fall, we must have a converted heart to be able to not run away, or fall to temptation to curse Him or abandon Him. Our Lord pointed out to these women as He was carrying His Cross that He is the Son of God, who stood before them performing miracles and SIGNS of His Glory (the green wood), and yet they are still crucifying Him, because most could not SEE WHO HE WAS THEN, and WHO HE STILL IS NOW. If this occurred while Our Lord was in their midst, what is going to happen to those people, when He has pulled His Spirit back, (when the wood is dry)? Will this evil generation be a hundred or a thousand times worse like the days of Noah? Will we continue to weep for Our Lord, because we have an unquenchable LOVE for Him with a converted heart? Or will we run away in fear, and temptations of the devil to turn on our Lord and curse Him because of the tribulations and deceptions coming from Satan all around us? If you don’t have a true converted heart now, and prepared to offer up everything to Our Lord, including possible martyrdom, please continue to pray for Our Lord’s Graces to turn your heart of stone into a heart of flesh with an unquenchable thirst to live in HIS DIVINE WILL.
