We are all learning not to be of this world any longer because we are turning to God to be Transformed into His image, thus being Transformed into His saints on Earth, and even taking it a step further now by completely Surrendering to His Divine Will so much that we become perpetual living Tabernacles for God. Wow! You might ask how do we do this, when it is hard enough to just become a living saint? For those not studying the Divine Will, this seems even more impossible than becoming a saint on Earth. However, this is the desire of Our Lord as He describes to Luisa what is the Era of Peace, and what it actually means to be bring Heaven down to Earth Spiritually. God’s new revelation of the Divine Will era is actually every soul being transformed into His image so much that it will be like living in Heaven on Earth! The peace that we will experience will be so abundant that it will be like living as Adam and Eve once did before they fell to original sin. This is hard to conceptualize for many of us, and all I can do to try and explain this is to give everyone a baseline of tangible steps we must take towards God and our complete Surrender to His Divine Will in both the teachings of the Saints first, like St. Teresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross, then show you how our Lord takes it a step further in the Divine Will of the Most Holy Trinity.
First, the teaching of the Saints! Once we have become reconciled back to God through Confession and true Repentance of our sins, meaning that we are sincerely trying to stop even all venial sins, then we can continue to move forward in our Spiritual lives with our Lord. During this Purgative stage, our Lord is giving us all of these Consolations of His reciprocal love that we can actually feel or understand that it is from Him, and not our own imagination. If you are not experiencing any consolations from God like images in your mind during prayer with Him or hearing words from Him interiorly or audibly with your ears, and confirmations of those images and words through different signs from God, then you must continue to strive for perfection and ask God to reveal Himself to you because you Love Him and want to Know Him more. If your heart is right, then He will begin to reveal Himself in a way only you will be able to understand, and then you have entered the Purgative Stage.
Once we have begun to move even more deeply in our interior lives with Our Lord, it means we are understanding the Spiritual life with God, and we are advancing more into His Divine Will, which is always difficult if you can’t get away from the world completely because many of us are working class families with children. Now, I completely understand why we have retreats with profound silence and why it is so important to spend at least one hour a week in Adoration of our Lord in front of the Blessed Sacrament. We just can’t get away from the noise, but even more sadly, the sin in our world is so permeated in all of our societies and cultures, it is getting harder and harder to protect our children and ourselves from seeing or hearing all of the evil we are up against. This is all going to stop when Our Lord decides it is time to intervene, and our world will change drastically for everyone. Just like everything in the world changed with the flood in the days of Noah, so too will everything in our world will change by God in order to usher in the Era of Peace. Our Lord made it very clear that He is waiting on the Divine Will revelation to be mostly accepted by His Children before He ushers in the Era of Peace. According to Scripture, the cup of iniquity has been long filled and overflowing with sin in this world now, and we are way past due for chastisements from God. In fact, we are already in the Chastisements, and this began with World War I and II according to the Divine Will and Book of Revelation teachings of Frances Hogan. So, we are a hundred years into the Divine Will revelation now given to Luisa Piccarreta, and God has not intervened with the Warning/Illumination of Conscience yet, but it is coming soon! The egregious amount of sin is already here, so now we just have to finish explaining the Divine Will of God so that more people can be prepared for the Era of Peace. Whether this period of time comes with us now, or our Children, or our Grandchildren because of the Great Monarch period, we must prepare them because God is going to make all of us His saints through this Purification period.
So, we are trying to reach the Illuminative Proficient stage right now in the Three stages of interior life or Spiritual life with God. We are going to post this Spiritual guide by Saint John of the Cross again here for you to review because we must get through these steps to be able to live in the Divine Will, which is the highest sanctity of calling by God. III. Illuminative/Proficients:
A. Charity toward others
- After a period of purification that takes place in the first Dark Night of the senses, there comes a time of relative peace and consolation.
- There breaks into our life a new freedom which goes on for a while, where we begin to experience a transformation in our life. There is a closer intimacy with God and deeper awareness and resting in His love.
- In our relationship with other people we become less judgmental and more compassionate, more realistic (humble selfknowledge) about our strengths and weaknesses. More respectful of God, less angry, more trusting, more accepting of other
people’s differences, not trying to control other people, willingness to carry the cross that comes to us in life. These are the fruits. - Life becomes more simple; all that matters is to try to live day by day for the love of God and neighbor.
- Persons will not count the cost of taking care of those in physical or spiritual need. They will attempt very difficult acts of
charity. The test will be the fruit of remaining in God’s presence. - Prayer during this time
a. Prayer becomes more contemplative—increased calm and quiet. Prayer becomes resting in God’s presence and allowing God to love us. It is God praying in us.
b. Prayer leads persons to serve others more radically out of love of God and trust that He will guide them in their mission.
c. To live a Eucharistic life means learning to love others as God loves us (Matthew 5-7). As Jesus gives Himself to us, we are called to give our lives to one another. Example of Dorothy Day at the moment of Consecration in the Mass: “This is
my Body broken for you. Will you let your body be broken for me and for others? … This is my Blood poured out for you.

Quote from St. John: “A soul enkindled with love is a gentle, meek, humble, and patient soul.” (M. 29) “Lord, you return gladly and lovingly to lift up the one who offends you, but I do not turn to raise and honor the one who annoys me. B. Love of God
- Persons have a much deeper sense and ability to see all things in the light of God as our beginning and end. They grow in the Gift of Understanding, which makes it possible to put all things of this life in proper perspective in relation to God and see the interconnection between various truths of faith, which were not as obvious before.
- An abiding sense of God’s presence in all things is an immense grace, which is given only gradually. It is an awareness of God’s presence and a willingness to do all things for love of Him in a spirit of radical humility and surrender.
- It is part of the strange paradox that as we get closer to God, we realize more and more how far we are from His holiness and perfection. We become more aware of the gravity of former and present sins, and at the same time grow in hope and trust as “forgiven sinners”.
- Prayer during this time:
a. Prayer is generally easier and more contemplative because of the Gift of love of God. There is a growing desire to be in God’s presence.
b. Liturgical prayer will be filled with more reverence and awe. Persons will be more attracted to liturgy which is quieter and more prayerful.
c. Devotions such as the Rosary will be prayed in a very different manner than before. - Scripture:
a. Philippians 3.7-16 All is considered loss in the light of Christ. I am grasped by Christ.
b. Philippians 4.4-9 Dismiss all anxiety, and the peace of God will stand over your hearts and minds. - Quote from St. John: “Love is not feeling great things, but in having great nakedness and suffering for the Beloved.” (M)
“Nothing is obtained from God except by love.” (SC, 1.13)
C. Dark Night of the Soul (Purification of the Intellect, Memory, and Will).
We have to imagine ourselves at this level and make this our goal to be ready when we will be moving to a Refuge of Our Lord’s Sacred Heart and Our Blessed Mother’s Immaculate Heart after the Warning/Illumination of Conscience occurs. This is because we will be in a state of Transformation by Our Lord, and we will be completing our Purification stages in order to be living in the Era of Peace. If we are not at this level of the Second stage of the interior life of Illuminative Proficient, then this is the level we will all be striving for because life will be much more simplified, and we will all be striving for perfection and praying for the gift of the Divine Will. If you have not consecrated yourselves to the Immaculate Heart of our Blessed Mother Mary, then do so now, with the 33 Days of Consecration taught to us by St. Louis De Montfort. Remember, Our Blessed Mother’s Immaculate Heart will Triumph first, before we get to the Divine Will and Era of Peace. This will be the salvation of souls that our Blessed Mother has been working so tirelessly for over the last several centuries, even going back to Our Lady of Good Success! Now, if we have been working on this level of our interior lives, we can compare this to the level of the Divine Will taught to Luisa Piccarreta, and we have discerned that this is the Second level out of the Four Degrees of the Divine Will taught by our Lord to Luisa Piccarreta. Here is an explanation of the levels or degrees of the Divine Will given to Luisa Piccarreta by Our Lord in Volume 19, from July 26, 1926.

The four degrees of the living in the Supreme Will.
I continue in my usual abandonment in the Supreme Volition, and my always lovable Jesus, on coming, told me: “My daughter, the light of the sun is not enjoyed equally by all – not because of the sun, since my works, containing the universal good, do good to all with no restriction of any kind; but because of creatures. Imagine a person who remains in his room: he does not enjoy all the vividness of the light; and if he enjoys a mild light, he does not enjoy its heat. There is someone else, then, who is outside of the built-up area: he
enjoys more light, he feels the heat of the sun; the heat purifies and disinfects the putrid air, and in enjoying the purified air he becomes stronger and feels healthier. So, the second person enjoys more of the goods that the sun brings to the earth. But, move forward. There is a third person who goes and puts himself at that point in which the solar rays hit the surface of the earth. This one feels invested by its rays, he feels burned by the heat of the sun; the vividness of its light is such that, his eyes being filled with it, he can hardly look at the earth. He sees himself as though transfused, one could say, into the very light; he feels little of the earth, of himself, and only because he has his feet on the ground, but he lives only for the sun. See what a great difference exists between the first, the second and the third. But, move even further. A fourth person takes flight into the solar rays, and rises up to the center of its sphere. This one remains burned by the intensity of the heat that the sun contains in its center; the intensity of the light eclipses him completely, in such a way that he remains dissolved, consumed, within the sun itself. This fourth person can no longer look at the earth nor think of himself; and if he does look, he will look at light, he will feel fire. So, for him all things have ended; light and heat have taken the place of his life. What a difference between the third and the fourth! However, all this difference does not depend on the sun, but on creatures, and on how they expose themselves to the light of the sun. Now, the sun is the image of my Will which, more than sun, shoots its rays to convert those who want to live in Its Kingdom completely into light and love. These people are the image of the four degrees of the living in my Will. One can say that the first one does not live in Its Kingdom, but only in the light which, from my Kingdom, the Sun of my Will diffuses to all. One can say that he is outside of Its boundaries, and if he enjoys a limited light, it is because of the nature of light, which diffuses everywhere. His nature, his weaknesses and passions form as though a house around him; they form infected and putrid air; and in breathing it, he lives as sickly and without liveliness of strength in doing good. But in spite of all this, he is resigned; he bears to his best the encounters of life, because the light of my Will, mild as it may be, always brings its good. The second is the image of one who has entered the first steps of the boundaries of the Kingdom of the Supreme Will. This one enjoys not only more light, but also the heat, therefore the air he breathes is pure; and in breathing it, he feels passions die within him, he is constant in good, he bears the crosses not only with resignation, but with love. However, since he is at the first steps of the boundaries, he looks at the earth and feels the weight of the human nature. On the other hand, the third is the image of one who has advanced into the boundaries of this Kingdom; and Its light is such and so great as to make him forget everything. He no longer feels anything of himself; good, virtues, crosses, change into his own nature; the light eclipses him, transforms him, and just barely allows him to look from afar at what no longer belongs to him. The fourth is the happiest, because he is the image of one who not only lives in my Kingdom, but has acquired It. This one undergoes the total consummation in the Supreme Sun of my Will; the eclipse caused by Its light is so intense, that he himself becomes light and heat, nor can he look at anything else but light and fire; and all things convert for him into light and love. Therefore, there will be a difference of degrees in the Kingdom of my Will according to how much creatures will want to take from Its goods. But the first degrees will be spurs and paths in order to reach the last one. For you, then, who must make It known, there is all the necessity to live in the last degree.”

Once, we have been purified by our Lord and predisposed by Him to be able to understand the teachings of the Divine Will and act upon these teachings, then, we will be ready to focus only on God’s Divine Will daily by fusing ourselves continually to every prompting by God, and denying our own will completely of any self-gratification. This means. even our smallest acts for God, will be because they are God’s Divine Will, and we are doing them for Him alone, and not because it is making us His saints. What is fascinating about the Divine Will is that Our Lord told Luisa Piccarreta that this is the highest form of Sanctity on earth! Meaning, that Jesus Christ, Our King and Savior, is taking us to a level of interior union with Him that goes beyond what all of the Saints conquered by obtaining almost all of the virtues! So, we are discerning that to get the third degree of the Divine Will would be like becoming a Saint for God and mastering all of the virtues, and we are in union with Him in the third degree, but the fourth degree is the level that God desires all of us to be in order to usher in His Era of Peace. This means, that we must all be like Adam and Eve in our full union with God prior to original sin! So, please print out both the Saints guide by St. John of the Cross, and the image of the four Degrees of the Divine Will for your Refuges. This is something we can work on while in our Refuges because we will all be tempted by sin in our thoughts daily from being around people in a home where we have to work together, pray together, and live in the same environment for less than three and a half years. Wow! We are really going to need to strive for perfection for God in these times!
So, to get to the Fourth Degree of the Divine Will is where we will all be when and if we enter into the Era of Peace, or if the Great Monarch period does come first, we can teach our children how to live in God’s Divine Will. Only God knows what His predestined plan of Divine Providence is for each one of us. However, our constancy and intention in our daily lives is what keeps prompting God to continue to work on our souls by purifying us and predisposing our souls to live in His Divine Will perpetually. We can do it! We just have to keep fusing ourselves daily and striving for holiness by removing as much habitual venial sins and praying for Our Lord to remove our defects. Our Lord is the one that continues the work in our souls as we strive to move closer and closer in union with Him. At least in the Refuges, we can work on a prayer room that is completely shut off from the noises and sins of the world that surround us exteriorly, and we will have round the clock Adoration time with Our Lord. This is actually the exciting part! However, we will need to keep up our work around the Refuges, and we will all have to take turns praying and working as our Lord takes care of us as He did the Israelites in the desert for 40 years.
Let us Pray – Lord, we are Yours, and we consecrate ourselves to the Immaculate Heart of our Blessed Mother and to Your Sacred Heart. We know that part of our Purification in these times is allowing You to remove our sins and defects from our souls in order to become Your saints. We Surrender completely to Your Divine Will and we pray for joy, happiness, and total Love of You and our neighbors so that we can be ready for what is coming after the Warning/Illumination of Conscience. We place our nothingness into Your Allness, and we fuse all of ourselves in You, and all of You in us in Your Divine Will. We pray for the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary to continue to bring us closer and closer to Your Sacred Heart, and we pray for the intercession of all of the Saints to pray for us to be able to understand how to obtain the gift of the Divine Will and be a perpetual living Tabernacle for You in the Era of Peace. We ask this of Our Heavenly Father, in Your name, Jesus Christ. Amen.
